Falls Church, VA, USA and Turin, Italy – Loquendo, leading provider of speech technology worldwide, announces the integration of the Loquendo Voice Security Library (LVSL) into Raytheon Company’s Redwolf™ surveillance system.
Redwolf™, trusted by government intelligence agencies for more than 20 years, is a ‘one-stop’ solution that collects, stores and analyzes digital audio telecommunications, Internet traffic and VoIP communications.
Loquendo Voice Security Library (LVSL) is a software library incorporating speaker and multi-speaker recognition, speaker segmentation, language detection and gender detection on conversational speech, as well as DTMF tone detection.
Intelligence agencies today must process huge amounts of data from a variety of sources – and inevitably under tight time constraints and with limited resources. The Loquendo LVSL is a rapid and reliable way to filter such data: by identifying the voice(s), language(s) and gender of the speaker, for example, the quantity of voice recordings that need to be gathered and analysed is significantly reduced, so greatly enhancing the efficiency of the investigative process.
Redwolf™ can accept both digital and analog inputs via microphone, subscriber line loop extenders, high speech telecommunication trunks and LAN and WAN networks.
“The Redwolf solution maximizes an agency’s resources during critical surveillance by quickly processing communications, before rapidly identifying and responding to threats,” says Luciano Piovano, Loquendo VP for Government Intelligence Solutions. “We are very pleased that Loquendo’s state of the art technology is now an integral component of this market-leading solution.”
