Spanish voice.
Zeynep, the new female Turkish voice, joins Kerem in taking Loquendo
and its partners into the thriving Turkish market, as well as into
a whole new branch of languages for Loquendo. The European markets
have never been so accessible to Loquendo's clients and partners.
These latest additions bring the total number of
languages in the Loquendo portfolio to 21, the total number of voices
to 53.
Currently available languages include U.S. and U.K. English, American
Spanish, Mexican, Chilean and Argentinian Spanish, Castilian, Catalan,
Brazilian, Portuguese, Italian, German, Esperanto, French, Dutch,
Greek, Mandarin Chinese, Swedish, Turkish, Canadian French and Polish
in both male and female voices, with more always under development.
Loquendo
TTS is the very first text to speech with a genuine 'emotional'
component, an unparalleled leap forward in TTS technology that gives
Loquendo's voices truly lifelike expression.
Like all of Loquendo's voices, Soledad and Zeynep are available
for Telephony, Multimedia and Embedded applications: this means
integrators can select the footprint to best suit their requirements,
always guaranteed the same wide range of high-quality voices and
languages all with the same core engine.
The latest Loquendo
TTS release (7.3.0) comes with the new Dynamic Range Control,
which gives improved voice intelligibility in noisy environments.
By means of simple controls, developers can easily fine-tune prompts
and adjust the audio to specific locations, speakers and audio devices.
This valuable and easy to use wizard is built into the Loquendo
TTS Director tool.
This latest version has also been enriched with a powerful Java
API layer which makes all Loquendo TTS features available to Java
programmers.
Furthermore, Loquendo now fully supports the X-SAMPA phonetic alphabet,
as well as the SAMPA variants from TeleAtlas® and Navteq.
Loquendo TTS also supports a huge number of different text encodings,
accepting input text in utf-16, utf-8, iso-8859-x, oem, windows-12xx,
etc.
