Turin, Agust 1st, 2005 Loquendo announces the
release of standards-compliant Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) v2 support
for Loquendo speech technologies - including Loquendo TTS, Loquendo ASR, and Loquendo
Speaker Verification - through its software-only server solution Loquendo MRCP Server 7.0.
Loquendo Speech technologies support all the most advanced standards
in the speech scenario. This includes MRCP v1 up to the latest draft provided
by IETF (mrcp-07), as well as the more recent IETF standard MRCP v2 (mrcpv2-06),
which is based on SIP and also provides support for Speaker Verification and Identification
technologies.
The Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) is a standard
for managing speech technology servers in distributed system architectures that
is rapidly gaining widespread acceptance. MRCP enables integrators to deliver
total caller satisfaction, while significantly cutting costs and protecting investment,
said Loquendos Vice President Rosanna Duce. "By drawing on the very
latest open standards, such as MRCP v2 and VoiceXML 2.1, Loquendo is in a position
to deliver the best core speech technology, enabling our partners to create excellent
quality self-service telephony applications, for any domain."
Loquendo
MRCP Server 7.0s full support of the most common standards for technology
integration, combined with the full compliance of Loquendo technologies to SGRS
(either XML and ABNF), SISR 1.0 and SSML 1.0, removes any legacy from customer
investments, while minimizing technology integration efforts. Loquendo
MRCP Server 7.0 is now available for Microsoft Windows 2000 and Linux Red Hat
7.3.
