Loquendo's VoxNauta™ Platform Awarded VoiceXML 2.0 Certification
January 31st, 2006

Loquendo's Voxnauta™ VoiceXML platform was awarded VoiceXML 2.0 platform certification by the VoiceXML Forum. The VoiceXML Forum's Certification Program certifies that implementation platforms conform to the VoiceXML 2.0 test suite.

Today, Loquendo joins an elite group of companies to have its voice platform recognized as VoiceXML 2.0 compliant by the VoiceXML Forum. This is the result of rigorous conformance testing carried out at the end of last year by an independent laboratory on behalf of the VoiceXML Forum.

"The Platform Certification Program is a key component of the VoiceXML Forum's strategy to accelerate worldwide market adoption of speech-enabled applications," says Ken Rehor, Chair of the VoiceXML Forum. "VoiceXML platform certification promotes inter-operability between VoiceXML platforms, tools, service providers, and applications. As VoiceXML adoption continues to grow in enterprises and carriers, certification assists customers in choosing from a wide variety of vendors and deployment options to solve their particular business needs."

"Loquendo is one of the first market players to offer a voice platform fully compliant to W3C and IETF standards. Achieving VoiceXML 2.0 Certification further demonstrates Loquendo's leadership in speech technology," states Marco Romagnoli, Loquendo's CEO. "The Voxnauta™ VoiceXML platform conforms to the standards and supports the best-in-breed speech technologies, allowing customers to retain investments, which is an essential step forward in promoting the speech application market."

This significant achievement demonstrates, once more, Loquendo's ongoing commitment to providing high quality speech solutions based on open standards.

Loquendo's VoxNauta™ 7.0 VoiceXML platform also fully supports all other relevant speech standards, integrating Loquendo's technologies through MRCPv2, IETF standard protocol; supporting W3C VoiceXML 2.1; and implementing CCXML 1.0, the new W3C standard language for programming call control at service level.
