Speech Synthesis on Android Market for Android Phone Users
Now Android phone users can download Loquendo TTS directly onto their handsets, and make any talking app on their phones speak with Loquendo TTS!
Loquendo TTS is currently available on the Android Market in American English with the voice of Susan and in Italian with the voice of Paola, for Android version 2.2 (Froyo) or later.
You can choose your favourite reading style from Navigation or Messaging:
- The "Navigation" style enables Loquendo TTS to correctly expand address abbreviations typically found in Google Maps/Google Navigation or other navigation apps.
- The "Messaging" style includes an SMS abbreviation decoder which correctly reads the more common emoticons and acronyms used in text messages and emails.
