The Euro Converter "answers"
the phone |
|
To demonstrate
potential applications, Loquendo presents its own "euroconversion"
tool. To try the "voice converter", all you need to
do is call (+39) 02/575220008 or 199.11.66.33.08
and say the amount you wish to convert in Italian, specifying
whether it is in Lire or in Euro. You will immediately hear
one of Loquendo's synthetic voices - which will have carried
out the conversion - tell you the corresponding amount.
The Euro converter is a demonstration of the breadth of range
of quick and easy-to-use voice solutions developed by Loquendo
for the realization of innovative voice-enables services available
over the phone -be it wireline or wireless- at anytime and from
anywhere.

Loquendo
equips Giovanni Soldini's "Fila Tri" Tri-hull with speech
apparatus |
|
Loquendo
equipped the tri-hull "Fila Tri" with a speech apparatus
for voice-enabled interface with a number of the onboard navigation
instruments, which was used by Giovanni Soldini in the "Jacques
Vabre" transoceanic race.
It is in fact a "virtual assistant" that by means
of a synthetic voice promptly "obeys any order" and
enables Giovanni Soldini to give a series of voice commands,
at any time and from any position on the boat, such as "veer
left" to adjust the course of the tri-hull, or even "navigation
lights", to switch the mast navigation lights on and off.
